Protein Buffalo Chicken Flatbread
Are you craving pizza, but want to make it more balanced and higher in protein? Then this is the recipe for you!
What you need:
1 flatbread
1 cup of cottage cheese
garlic powder
1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
1 yellow onion to caramelize
Cherry Tomatoes
Real Good Chicken Tenders
Primal Kitchen Buffalo Sauce
Toppings:
I love to drizzle the pizza or dip it in Ranch Dressing (obviously pizza isn’t complete without ranch!)
Instructions:
Place you flatbread in the oven @400 degrees along with your real good chicken tenders
While that’s cooking start sautéing your tomatoes and onions in a pan with some olive oil
After cooking the flatbread for about 5-7 minutes take it out (it should look almost cooked) then spread the cottage cheese on it and place it back in the oven for 5 more minutes. When the chicken is done, place the chicken in a bowl and pour 1/4 cup of buffalo sauce and coat the chicken. Next, add the chicken to the pizza along with the onions and tomatoes and top with shredded cheese and place it back in oven for around 5 minutes, then slice & enjoy!
This flatbread pairs well with my homemade Ceaser Salad!
