Apple Crisp Protein Yogurt Bowl
Happy Start of Fall Y’all!
When I tell you this is one of the best recipes I have ever created, I don’t mean that lightly! If you know me you know I love a satiating, high-protein breakfast with all of the food groups carbs, fats, proteins and the most important thing is you want to feel satisfied!
Ingredients you need:
1 apple (I prefer Honey Crisp)
1/2 cup of Rolled Oats
1 TB of Cinnamon
Pinch of Sea Salt (I love Maldon Flaky Salt)
1 TB of Trader Joes Apple Pie Spread
Drizzle of Peanut Butter
1 cup of Greek Yogurt
1 scoop of Vanilla Protein Powder
Directions:
Get a Bowl and Mix the Greek Yogurt with the Protein Powder thoroughly and place in freezer to let it get cold.
Next, get out a pan and dice your apples into cubes and place them into the pan and add cinnamon, some water, and the apple pie spread!
After that is done cooking and the apples are gooey and caramelized, add your oats in and stir till they are cooked!
Then take your yogurt out of the freezer, top with the apple crisp mixture and drizzle your peanut butter, flaky salt and more cinnamon!
There you have it you have just made a perfect, high protein fall breakfast!
